Started June 2001

Started the season racing with Tony Elmer on his Formula 2 outfit. Racing both Club and National events at many different circuits I gained more confidence and experience on this outfit and by the end of the season had a number of good results to show for our efforts. It was clear there was a good understanding between us and a great partnership had been formed.

2002

Stayed in Formula 1 with the same rider but on a different outfit. The season was spent mostly competing in the Derby Phoenix Club Championship. With some top finishes I gained my National Licence by the end of the season. When the rider announced his retirement I started to look for a new partnership.

2001

Started sidecar racing as a novice passenger on a Formula 1 outfit. Raced in various Club events with good results and enabling me to gain my Clubman's Licence by the end of the season.
